For all our clients we offer an after-hours service, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for emergency situations such as colic, acute lameness, choke, lacerations/wounds, joint/tendon injury, eye trauma, foaling emergencies, foal problems, ADR’s (“ain’t doin’ right”) or any other weird and wonderful situations our horses can find themselves in.
Normal operating hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm and any visits outside these hours are considered after-hours and only for equine emergencies. If you require an emergency consultation please phone the office on (02)63414010 to receive the number of the on duty veterinarian.
In the case of many emergencies we advise to bring your horse to the clinic where possible. This ensures that we have access to all available diagnostic equipment and therapeutics to ensure the best possible management of your horse’s condition.
If you are not sure if your horse’s condition requires an emergency consultation please contact the on duty veterinarian for advice. We are only too happy to help and it is always better to be safe than sorry when it comes to your horse.
